The 2025 S/S (Spring/Summer) Seoul Fashion Week from next month will give the public a glimpse of fashion trends next year.
The Seoul Metropolitan Government on Aug. 7 said the event will be held from Sept. 3-7 at Dongdaemun Design Plaza in Seoul.
Under the theme "Sustainable Fashion," the latest week will feature a fashion show with 21 brands, presentation with five and exhibition including a trade show with 92 brands.
Spring and summer outfits by the country's 21 leading designers will be on display at the fashion show.
New to the season is the presentation, which has participating brands and companies introduce their products and materials to domestic and foreign buyers and media.
The product exhibition will see interactions between 92 brands and about 100 importers and distributors from around the world including Europe and Asia.
Under the event's theme, the textile company Hyosung TNC will showcase eco-friendly materials and products. The designer brand PartsParts will also host an exhibition under the theme "Zero-waste Design Philosophy and Sustainable Fashion."
Jeju Samdasoo, a brand of mineral water produced on Jeju Island, will run a resource recycling campaign of collecting and reusing plastic water bottles from Seoul Fashion Week as materials for making fibers.
