"Once and For All" is a collaborative project between dance companies from Korea and the U.S. (Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism)

Collaborative works of culture and arts involving artists from Korean and nine other countries will perform for audiences both at home and abroad.

The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism on Aug. 29 announced the project 2024 Korea Round Culture in cooperation with the Korean Foundation for International Cultural Exchange.

Launched last year, this venture aims to support collaboration between artists from Korea and abroad through cooperation with foreign missions in Korea and Korean Cultural Centers abroad.

This year's edition will search for and support 12 projects through cooperation with Brazil, the U.S., Canada, Italy, Thailand, Turkiye (Turkey), Ukraine, Singapore and China.

The presented works will combine Korea's unique culture with that of each participating country in fields such as performing arts, exhibitions and literature. Canada and Italy, two countries marking the Year of Cultural Exchange 2024-25 with Korea, will hold events in Korea to expand bilateral exchanges.

Next month will see the dance performance "Body" by Canadian artists and the play "The Little Tiger for Korea" in a production with Thailand. The schedule for October includes the joint concert "Korea-Italy Jazz Exchange" and the Odessa Philharmonic Orchestra and pianist Kim Jun Hee in collaboration with Ukraine.

Select events will be performed in the partner countries.

"Overseas demand is rising for collaborations with Korean artists," Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Choi Bo-keun said. "We will actively support creative works to make a virtuous cycle to help them advance abroad."
