A media art exhibition in London highlights traditional Korean landscapes and hermitage gardens.

The Korea Heritage Service (KHS) on Oct. 18 announced its hosting of "Quietly Reciting Poetry While Walking Slowly: Korean Literati's Utopia, Hermitage Gardens" through Oct. 27 at Saatchi Gallery London.

The event features four large screens displaying four leading hermitage gardens in Korea: Yun Seon-do's Garden on Bogildo Island in Wando-gun County, Jeollanam-do Province; Soswaewon and Myeongokheon gardens in Damyang-gun County, Jeollabuk-do Province; and Imdaejeong Garden, Hwasun in Hwasun-gun County, Jeollanam-do.

The sound is based on traditional music, and special effects such those of a midnight fog and a starry night sky combine to create a tranquil atmosphere to raise visitor immersion.

The KHS will also display this exhibition in early December at Ilmin Museum of Art in Seoul's Jongno-gu District.
