"Winter Ahead," a duet by V of the K-pop boy band BTS and singer Park Hyo-shin, has hit No. 1 on iTunes' Top Song charts in 75 countries, BTS' management agency Big Hit Music said on Nov. 30.

Released on Nov. 29, the song topped the charts as of 6 a.m. that day Korean Standard Time in the U.K., Germany, France, Japan and Canada.

"Winter Ahead" also topped the worldwide and European iTunes song charts.

Also going No. 1 on YouTube's global list of trending music videos, the song's accompanying music video shows V as a sculptor creating an artwork.

A big jazz fan, V collaborated on the melody with Park to complete a jazz pop song with a romantic feel.

"Winter Ahead" was composed by Jesse Harris, who also wrote the hit "Don't Know Why" by American singer Norah Jones.
