The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism will promote the country's traditional cultural products in Atlanta.

In collaboration with the Korea Craft and Design Foundation, the ministry on April 17 announced running a booth under the theme "That's Korea 2025: Today Timeless Tradition" at the World Korean Business Convention in the capital of the state of Georgia.

Running from April 17-20, the convention is expected to attract 350 companies and some 500 overseas buyers. Since 2002, it has supported the global expansion of Korea's small and medium companies by using the global network of ethnic Korean entrepreneurs.

The booth features over 100 product types from 32 startups specializing in traditional culture including Hansik (traditional cuisine), Hanbok (traditional attire), crafts and hands-on cultural experiences.

The traditional cultural products include a non-hardening tteok (rice cake) developed and exported by The BareunTteok; ceramic items from Mujagi Studio, which has collaborated with leading companies such as Starbucks and Sulwhasoo; and Happly, known for its Hanbok and daenggi (traditional hair ribbons) inspired by the beauty of hwajeopdo, a traditional style of minhwa (folk painting) featuring flowers and butterflies.

In addition, on-site events include business investment presentations and individual consultations to allow communication with overseas buyers and introduce traditional cultural products.
