Two members of K-pop sensation BTS on June 10 were honorably discharged from the military after completing their mandatory service.
RM and V that morning left their guard posts in the morning after reporting their discharge from their respective units.
The two had reported for service in December 2023, with RM serving in the military band of the Republic of Korea Army's 15th Infantry Division and V in the special mission team of military police.
Jimin and Jung Kook, who both joined the 5th Infantry Division, will be discharged on June 11.
Suga, who chose to perform public service in lieu of serving, will finish his duty on June 21 to complete the reunion of all seven members.
Earlier last year, Jin was discharged in June and J-Hope in October.
The group's management agency Hybe on June 10 hung on its headquarter building in Seoul's Yongsan-gu District the official logos of BTS and Army, the boy band's fan community, along with the phrase "We are back." The decorations will remain up through June 29 to mark the 12th anniversary of BTS' debut that falls on June 13.
From June 13-14, the Korea International Exhibition Center, aka KINTEX, will host the 2025 BTS Festa in Goyang, Gyeonggi-do Province, to celebrate the anniversary.
