Naver Webtoon will present original content on the high end Inoui and the economy option Ouigo of France's high-speed rail TGV.

Naver Webtoon on June 30 announced its partnership with Moment, a company that runs an entertainment platform for such trains, to provide 15 original webtoons as exclusive content to TGV from July 1.

The platform provides diverse content by automatically connecting to mobile devices and PCs on the TGV train network. The inclusion of webtoons is a first for Moment.

Comprising nine Korean webtoons including "Marry My Husband" and "White Blood" and six French works, the 15 selections were organized to coincide with the peak summer vacation season, when the number of TVG passengers surges.

France's national rail company SNCF said the number of TGV passengers in 2023 exceeded 124 million.

"This is a good opportunity to introduce webtoons to many users during the summer vacation season," said Kim Yeo-jeong, general lead of Naver Webtoon EU. "We will add more works in the hope that French users naturally fall in love with the fun and appeal of webtoons."
