The global hit "APT" by Rosé of the K-pop girl group BLACKPINK and Bruno Mars and "Golden," the chart-topper from the soundtrack to the animated blockbuster "KPop Demon Hunters," have received nominations for top Grammy Awards, the highest pop music honors in the U.S.

The California-based National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences on Nov. 7 announced that "APT." was nominated for Song of the Year, Record of the Year, and Best Pop Duo/Group Performance. The first two honors are considered the top Grammys along with Album of the Year.

The soundtrack to "KPop Demon Hunters" received five nominations including Song of the Year for "Golden," which will compete against "APT." for Song of the Year and Best Pop Duo/Group Performance.

These are the first Grammy nods for K-pop acts since BTS in 2023.
