Four domestic classical musicians have been nominated for the 2026 International Classical Music Awards (ICMA).

Pianists Cho Seong-Jin and Lim Yunchan and violinists Kim Bomsori and Park Sueye are vying for the ICMA, whose awards ceremony is slated for March in Germany.

Lim's "The Seasons" and Park's "Echoes of Exile" were nominated in the solo instrumental category. In the concerto category, Lim was nominated for Rachmaninoff's Piano Concerto No. 3, Cho for "Ravel: The Piano Concertos" and Kim for "Bruch & Korngold."

The honors are selected by key figures from classical music magazines and broadcast stations around the world. The winners are announced in January and the awards ceremony will be held in March.

Last year, composer Chin Unsuk received the ICMA for contemporary music.
