BTS on May 25 in Las Vegas will perform at the American Music Awards (AMA), one of the three top pop music awards of the U.S.
The AMAs on May 20 said the group for the first time in five years will attend the ceremony at the MGM Grand Garden Arena.
The K-pop phenom is nominated for three AMAs this year -- Artist of the Year, Best Male K-Pop Artist and Song of the Summer -- the latter for "Swim," the title track from its fifth studio album "Arirang," which was released on March 20.
BTS has deep ties to the awards. In 2021, it became the first Asian act to win the top AMA honor of Artist of the Year.
This year's event will feature a line up including the international K-pop girl group KATSEYE, Billy Idol and Riley Green.
