The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism on July 27 launched Talk Talk Korea, a global contest of Korean cultural content.

Ending on Sept. 28, this year's competition features the theme "POV (Point of View): You're in Korea." Submissions of original content on one's first encounter with Korean culture are accepted in four categories: video, photos, drawing and illustration, and writing.

Entrants must publicly post their entries on their personal social media accounts with the hashtags #TalkTalkKorea2026, #TTK2026 and #MyPOV and apply on the official contest website (www.talktalkkorea.or.kr).

The combined 124 winners (individuals or teams) -- 44 main prizes and 80 participation awards -- will be announced on Nov. 5. The first-place finisher of each category will receive a voucher to visit Korea worth KRW 3 million and the contestant with the highest overall score will get the Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Award.

The online awards ceremony is scheduled for Nov. 17.

Launched in 2014, Talk Talk Korea marks its 13th edition this year. Over 76,000 entries from 108 countries were received last year.
