K-pop juggernaut BTS has won three MTV Video Music Awards (VMAs) including the top song honor.

At the Peacock Theater in Las Vegas, the group on Sept. 27 grabbed Song of the Year for "Swim," the title track from its fifth studio album "Arirang."

BTS also earned the VMAs for Best K-Pop and Best Group.

BLACKPINK's Lisa on Sept. 27 makes her acceptance speech after winning Best Pop for "Dream," a track from her solo album "Alter Ego," at the MTV VMAs at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles.

Meanwhile, Lisa of the girl group BLACKPINK won the VMA for Best Pop for "Dream," a track from her solo debut album "Alter Ego," making her the first Asian and K-pop solo artist to claim this category.

BTS made history in 2020 as the first Asian act to earn this award.
