Korea's oldest known gunpowder weapon confirmed in southern city
The country's oldest gunpowder weapon has been discovered on a mountain in Naju, Jeollanam-do Province. The Hwangja Hwatong dates back to either 1377 or 1437 and is considered a major archaeological find. Learn more here
