Seoul Metropolitan Government on March 17 announced additional tour packages offered by K-Travel Bus, a program started in 2017 exclusively for foreign visitors that offers bus transportation, accommodations, guides fluent in English, Chinese or Japanese and cultural activities.
In addition to its original two-day trip between Seoul and the province of choice, the tours now offer four-day trips to either the eastern or western region of the country and a seven-day "All Around" tour covering much of the nation.
K-Travel Bus tours offer seven two-day packages including one linking Seoul and Daegu and another connecting Seoul and Gangwon-do Province. The four-day western tour goes from Seoul to Daegu, Gyeongsangbuk-do Province, Gangwon-do Province and then back to Seoul, and the four-day eastern course starts from Seoul and goes to Chungcheongbuk-do Province, Gongju in Chungcheongnam-do Province, Jeollanam-do Province, Changwon in Gyeongsangnam-do Province and back to Seoul.
The All Around course features stops to eight regions including Seoul in what is considered a combination of the eastern and western packages. All tourism products allow tourists to join a course in the middle of a tour.
The activities offered include curling in Gangwon-do, Hanji (traditional Korean paper) art in Chuncheongbuk-do and trying on royal Hanbok (traditional Korean attire) in Gongju. The range of accommodations has also been expanded to hotels, resorts and traditional Hanok (traditional Korean architecture) villages.
Reservations can be made on the K-Travel Bus website (
