Teasers of forthcoming videos promoting tourism in Seoul featuring RM and Jin of BTS have been released.


The Seoul Metropolitan Government and Seoul Tourism Organization (STO) on Sept. 2 unveiled the teasers through the STO's YouTube channel "VisitSeoul TV" with subtitles in 10 languages.

 
Appointed honorary ambassador for tourism in Seoul in 2017, BTS has appeared in such videos every year to attract visitors worldwide to the capital.


The latest teasers showed the leading tourist attractions Seochon, N Seoul Tower and Nodeulseom Island in the background.


The teaser for Seochon titled "deliciouSeoul" had attracted over 60,000 views as of Sept. 5 at 10 a.m., that for Nodeulseom titled "healingSeoul" 52,000 and that for the tower's cable car "snapshotSeoul" 37,000.


The full versions of these videos will come out later this month, starting with "deliciouSeoul" on Sept. 16 at 1 p.m., "healingSeoul" on Sept. 23 and "snapshotSeoul" on Sept. 30.


Mae Kim, director of the STO's global marketing team, said, "Seoul is attracting people around the world by securing strong competitiveness based on its attractive tourist elements and Korean cultural content," adding, "We hope that these teasers and the soon-to-be released full versions of these videos showing Seoul and its story lead more people to choose Seoul as their first travel destination after COVID-19."
