The Seoul Metropolitan Government on June 25 announced that it will launch the next day its online Smart Seoul Map to provide information on how to enjoy in summer in the capital.

Through an easy-to-read map, the service has data on life and administration in the city.

Users can check locations, opening hours and methods of use of swimming pools, water parks and public fountains under the map's theme "Exciting Seoul Summer." The city's six outdoor swimming pools and water parks along the Hangang were opened on June 20 and will run until Aug. 18.

The app also provides details on the location of interchanges, elevators and routes for people who travel to parks by the river via bicycle or on foot.

It also provides information on 17 culture and arts festivals in Seoul scheduled between this month and August, venues selling the mass transit pass Climate Card and campground sites.
