The annual Gyeongnam Goseong Dinosaur World Expo kicked off on Oct. 2 at Danghangpo Tourist Area in Goseong-gun County, Gyeongsangnam-do Province.

Under the theme "Dinosaur and I," the event through Nov. 3 features exhibitions, interactive programs and performances.

The dinosaur parade, the expo's main event, features professional performers and parade carts. Other programs include new attractions like a dinosaur experience using generative artificial intelligence, dinosaur live show, and street and circus performances.

Launched in 2006 as the country's first expo on natural history, the event has attracted over 7.5 million visitors. A similar event in July last year, Visiting Dinosaur Expo in Ilsan, was held in Goyang, Gyeonggi-do Province.
