The country ranks second worldwide in "passport power" for the fifth straight year.
Henley & Partners, a London-based investment migration consulting company, on Oct. 14 released its latest index saying the Korean passport is ranked No. 2 in the number of countries where Koreans can enter with no visa with 190.
Singapore ranked first overall with 193 countries, followed by runner-up Korea and third-place Japan (189).
Fourth with 188 were Germany, Italy, Luxembourg, Spain and Switzerland and fifth saw a seven-way tie among Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Ireland and the Netherlands with 187.
