The Korea Railroad Corp. (Korail) has launched the Korail Pass Plus exclusively for foreign travelers to use on the bullet train KTX, subways and buses nationwide.

The pass combines the Korail Pass, which allows them to travel across the country by train at reasonable prices for two to five days, with a prepaid rechargeable transportation card for use on subways and buses.

Foreign tourists can purchase a Korail Pass on the Korail website (www.korail.com) or at a station and add KRW 8,000 to use the mass transit card function. After recharging, the Korail Pass Plus can be used to ride subways and buses nationwide as well as to pay at offline businesses like convenience stores.

To use the new pass, visit the related website (korailpassplus.korailnetworks.com), input the number and activate the public transit service. Get the card at designated kiosks at major KTX stations like Incheon International Airport, Seoul, Busan, Dongdaegu and Daejeon.
