Every year, the Korea Tourism Organization (KTO) hosts a Korea tourism fair for free independent travelers called the Love Korea Festival. This year, the event ran from Feb. 14 – 16 at CentralWorld, a massive shopping mall in Bangkok.

Quite a few booths promoted tourism in Korea and were hosted by provincial bodies such as tourism organizations from Jeju Island, Busan, and the provinces of Gyeonggi-do and Gangwon-do, the theme parks Everland and Lotte World, Lotte Duty Free, Yongpyong Resort, High 1 Ski Resort, Nami Island and Sono Hotels and Resorts. Each booth showcased and provided information about the host's services and products. Special fares from airlines and discount tour packages from travel agencies were also available in this fair.

The KTO had a service booth for those seeking consulting or information about visiting Korea. And all the booths had useful brochures and maps.

The event also featured a show featuring Choi Bomin of the K-pop boy band Golden Child, a KTO talk show with special guests describing their trips to Korea and a K-Pop cover dance contest.

Like at every Love Korea Festival in Thailand, there was an event in which people could wear Hanbok and take photos against a beautiful backdrop. This year's event also added a traditional Korean craft experience.

For those planning to visit Korea, such festivals are highly recommended as well as enjoyable.
