The COVID-19 outbreak is officially a pandemic. With just about everything on lockdown and all events canceled, people are stuck at home, direct interaction with others is limited and social distancing is a must.

So how should you spend your free time besides doing household chores, work, study and observing religion from home?

My advice is to order a pizza or another food, sit on the couch and find a Korean series to binge-watch in one week. The following are my K-drama recommendations that are all available on Netflix.

1. "Itaewon Class"

This drama is based on a popular webtoon with the same title. Park Sae-ro-yi wants to open a restaurant in the Itaewon neighborhood of Seoul and take revenge against a conglomerate after his father is killed in a motorcycle accident caused by his former classmate, who is the son of the conglomerate head.

2. "Hi Bye, Mama!"

This fantasy rom-com marks actress Kim Tae-hee's comeback to TV after five long years. She plays the ghost of a woman who died five years ago in an accident who returns to the world in human form for 49 days.

3. "Hospitality Playlist"

This drama features five doctors who've known each other for over 20 years since their first day in medical school. Expect to see many funny, interesting and sad moments in life.

4. "Kingdom"

This acclaimed horror series contains many plot twists and the unexpected. In addition to scary zombies, the story also explores the conflict and politics of power struggles in a medieval Korean kingdom set against spectacular cinematography and featuring high-level acting.
