BTS, which stands for Bangtan Boys, has broken a longstanding mark by staying atop Billboard's Social 50 chart for a record 164 weeks. The photo shows the group on Dec. 31, 2019, performing at New York City's Times Square to celebrate New Year's Eve. (Yonhap News)

Big Hit Entertainment and BTS on April 10 announced a big surprise for all members of ARMY, the K-pop group's fan group. The online "Bangtan Boys Concert in the Room" is slated for April 18-19.

The group announced that its concerts from 2014-19 such as "The Red Bullet" and "Love Yourself" will be available live on BTS' official YouTube channel Bangtan TV from April 18-19 at noon Korean Standard Time. Over the same period, eight episodes from past concerts and fan gatherings will be released free on YouTube four times a day.

BTS has thus given another good reason to stay at home and comply with self-isolation, as well as being able to enjoy music while practicing social distancing.
