Global K-pop sensation BTS from April 18-19 hosted the live online concert "Bang Bang Con" for fans as the group's concerts in Seoul and North America were canceled because of the COVID-19 pandemic.

The livestream began on April 18 at noon Korean Standard Time and continued the next day at the same time on the group's YouTube channel, attracting over 50 million views.

The virtual BTS fest featured a marathon of concert footage starting with the group's 2015 HYYH live concert to 2018's "Love Yourself" event in Seoul, with a series of tracks from the "Love Yourself" album, singles and rap ciphers played. My favorites were Suga's rendition of "First Love," "DNA" and "Mic Drop," and the performances were amazing as is expected of such an experienced and talented group.

In-between the concert clips, BTS included videos in which it urged fans to stretch with members and asked how they were enjoying the concert before it continued.

Though comprising clips from past BTS concerts and music videos, the concert saw fans cheer live with the broadcast by logging into Weverse and syncing their BTS cheer bombs. Once fans did that, their cheer bombs lit up the event.

The group expressed its thanks to fans via the official Twitter handle of BTS, saying, "Did you enjoy watching Bang Bang Con in the past two days? Thank you ARMYs for still using ARMY Bomb while watching our concerts at home."

An onscreen message at the end of the livestream said BTS plans a comeback in June, with the group marking its seventh anniversary that month.
