Video = Cheong Wa Dae YouTube video

President Moon Jae-in and first lady Kim Jung-sook on May 5 greeted children across the country with a touching video to celebrate Children's Day in Korea.

The video was carried in the computer game "Minecraft" and posted on the YouTube channel of the presidential office of Cheong Wa Dae, aka the Blue House.

President Moon and his wife were shown in the video guiding children on a virtual tour of the presidential office. The presidential couple first welcomed children in the video, saying they were invited to celebrate Children's Day due to the pandemic.

President Moon and his wife started the video by giving preventive advice, and encouraged and thanked children for their patience and for them to bear with the situation a little longer.

They said doctors, families and teachers were all fighting to eradicate the virus. To conclude the video, President Moon and his wife called children "heroes."
