Feb. 12 this year is Seollal (Lunar New Year), one of the two biggest holidays in Korea. Many people travel to their hometowns to reconnect with family and relatives and often give gifts or cash. The most popular gifts for this occasion are meat, fish, fruit, ginseng, honey, health products, massage chairs, personal care items, dried fish and hangwa (traditional confectionary).
