Ethnic Koreans in Brazil are using YouTube to express their experiences in South America's largest country. In turn, Brazilians are also using the video-sharing platform to display their love for Hallyu and promote Korean culture.

The following five Brazilians have amassed a following on YouTube through their channels describing their experiences visiting or living in Korea, as well as topics like Korean cuisine or their favorite K-pop groups or dramas.

Victor Han

Not to be confused with a Korean Brazilian drummer of the same name, Victor Han is a vlogger with 422,000 subscribers. Having lived in Brazil since childhood, he produces travel vlogs and shows his relationship with Korean culture and his family and friends. He also talks about Korean pop, cuisine and other facets of Korean culture. He started his vlog to better relate to his Korean heritage.

Initially named Olha o Close, this channel with 338,000 subscribers is run by Jenny Yang, a model, voice actor and singer who has lived in Korea for seven years. Going beyond her experience as a Brazilian living in Korea or simply highlighting the country's well-known cultural aspects, she also discusses LGBTQ culture as a member of this community. She also produces videos on Korean-language education. Most of her videos have both English and Korean subtitles.

Brazilian fans of Korean culture are familiar with this Korea-based vlogger with 260,000 subscribers. Since 2012, or before Hallyu fever swept Brazil, her channel has promoted K-pop and dramas as well as life and tourist spots in Korea. She has also hosted concerts of K-pop groups like 24K, DreamCatcher and MVP and interviewed many famous artists from both Brazil and Korea. She participated last year in the Korea Tourism Organization project "Hello Korea 2020" to promote tourism within the country.
