The Partnering for Green Growth and the Global Goals 2030 (P4G) is a global initiative to respond to climate change with clear objectives and achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) established in 2015 by the United Nations. The P4G Seoul Summit will run from May 30-31.

Participants will discuss climate change and work together toward solutions for major areas related to SDGs including an end to hunger, clean water and sanitation, affordable and clean energy, sustainable cities and communities, and responsible consumption and production.

This event will be held in Korea so how can people elsewhere in the world participate?

Just reduce plastic consumption and instead of using single-use items, choose reusable options such as tumblers and eco-friendly bags. Conserve water and get plants or start a home orchard. The most important thing is to make eco-friendly habits part of daily life and spread it.

Korea.net has started a social media campaign to share the P4G's message and meaning. Those wishing to participate can share photos of the use of eco-friendly products using the following hashtags: #2021P4GSeoulSummit, #4GreenFuture, #Koreanet4P4G, #GreenKorea and #Climatesummit.
