Listening to music is a way for people to calm down from stress and improve mood. The following are five K-pop songs I usually listen to when feeling down.

"It's Okay" by BTOB

This R&B ballad has a soft rhythm and meaningful lyrics for healing when you're tired. The lyrics express feelings of loneliness and fatigue over the burden of life, but assure that everything will be OK.

"Color Your Days" by BTOB

This song says it's OK to make mistakes because humans aren't perfect. The lyrics also contain the message that even if you fail, don't give up and keep chasing your dreams because the more frequent the failure, the higher the chance of success.

"Not Alone" by NCT 127

People have complained of loneliness amid this pandemic, and this song says we're not alone and can get through difficult times together.

"I'm All Ears" by Youngjae of GOT7 and Park Jimin

People often have a lot to say but don't know whom to talk to. This song is perfect for this situation because it says don't think you're alone because people are out there to listen.

"I'll Hug You" by Standing Egg

This song says that when you're sad, a hug might be better than talking about something you don't want to. It adds that someone will always be beside you with a shoulder to lean on when needed.
