The third edition of "K-pop Summer Vibes" held on Aug. 16, in Milan at Castello Sforzesco was an event intended to spur a return to normal amid the COVID-19 pandemic.

Aiming to spread Korean culture in Italy and promote Italian artists in the world of K-pop, the event was organized by Kineticvibe and Kpop Italia in collaboration with the Milan city government. Artists made their debuts in the Korean music scene and people from all over Italy had fun, sang, danced and made new friends.

The third edition of "K-pop Summer Vibes" was held at Castello Sforzesco in Milan.

The festival was held in full compliance with COVID-19 regulations.

The event was in full compliance with COVID-19 regulations, with the organizers and guests helpful in holding dialogue with the public on the need for proper social distancing.

In Italy, Hallyu is growing in popularity thanks to people who create interesting content and programs. This event demonstrated how Italians love Korean culture and K-pop and how fans can promote opportunities for social connection as well as fight discrimination and social division. Below is an interview with Sara Maurizio from KST (Kpop Show Time).

The show opened with two hosts who thanked the city of Milan and the organizers for putting together the event. Along with Sara Maurizio, they explained the development of the random play dance to a highly receptive audience to create a warm and fun environment.

Next were presentations and talks with Hallyu-related guests such as Tiktoker Do Ui Park, Ehdson, Hey.Sober and Vitonno as well as Miriam, an Italian former member of the K-pop girl group Prisma. They discussed how they grew interested in K-pop, their favorite Korean artists and making Italian covers of K-pop hits.

Time whizzed by and in the end, artists and the audience danced and sang together. Outside of Castello Sforzesco, the mingling continued and people took photos with the artists in full compliance with health regulations. The evening exemplified how well-planned events can be held despite difficulty.

The audience mingled with staff from the organizers at the end of the evening.
