The hit Korean drama "Squid Game" has spurred a slew of fans worldwide to create amazing art and creations for display on social media. I spoke to several creators about their works.

Djune, 21, is a hobby artist who majored in film directing. Her "Squid Game" fan art even got noticed by actor Jung Ho-yeon, who played former North Korean defector Kang Sae-byeok in the series. "As I was very impressed by Jung's performance, I was so happy and astonished when she noticed my work," the artist said.

Being a huge fan of the show, Kristine Keiseraas, a self-taught makeup artist and content creator, delivered this creative look inspired by the series. Her skillful and detailed makeup captures elements from the series such as the business card, players and guards, and she used fake blood to enhance the look.

Based in London, Zainab Jiwa is a digital creator who graduated from the London College of Fashion. A fan of cosplay since her youth, she cosplays and creates characters from her outfits. She dressed up as two characters from "Squid Game."

Amigurumi by Sachini Senanayake
Amigurumi is the Japanese art of knitting or crocheting small creatures using stuffed yarn. Sachini Senanayake from Sri Lanka makes made amigurumi versions of the series' guards and the deadly doll in Red Light, Green Light.

James Sun focuses on creating sand art inside a glass container depicting everyday life. He made a couple of works inspired by the Netflix smash.

TikTok star Timothy Huynh, 20, from Florida creates paintings using the Rubik's Cube, earning him 2.6 million followers on his TikTok account Souptimmy. "If I had the chance, I'd love to make more Squid Game members,'' he said.

Maniqure, a nail art salon on the outskirts of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, has designed a set of handpainted nails inspired by each of the show's nine episodes. The designs were even featured on a "Squid Game" event co-hosted by Netflix Malaysia and have gone viral in the country.

With four million followers on TikTok, Simji was born in Seoul and graduated with a bachelor of fine arts in studio art from Chapman University in Southern California. She has made four rugs inspired by "Squid Game" featuring the business card, star dalgona (honeycomb candy) and contestant jackets.

This cute macaron set is by Yearmate Dessert, a small dessert and cake shop in Daejeon run by three sisters. They even made a gift box of beautifully decorated delicious treats inspired by the show.

Fann Art Therapie in Singapore seeks to disconnect people from technology and have them reconnect with people through art. Founders Fannie Leow and Stephen Kee said, "We really miss Korea and the show was a nice escape for us. So after watching the series, we thought of doing something special with string art, and this is how the art piece came about."

Pomo comprises two female entrepreneurs running a small business that started off as a passion project. Based on their love for eco-friendly processes, sustainability and art, their collection includes charms, earrings and accessories inspired by the show.

"We were inspired enough to make a whole collection inspired by 'Squid Game' that we created while watching the show for the third time," they said.

Kim_rolling, the Instagram page of a gimbap (seaweed rice roll) enthusiast, shows both traditional and fun varieties of the food. After watching "Squid Game," the Instagrammer said she wanted to create something entertaining that everyone can enjoy without compromising taste.
