Deutsche Bank Park in Frankfurt, Germany, on May 14 was filled with thousands of K-pop fans from all over Europe to see "KPOP.FLEX," Europe's biggest K-pop concert.

The event started with dance events and traditional Hanbok. Korean Ambassador to Germany Cho Hyun Ock gave a short opening speech, and afterwards, the show began and featured Ive, Enhypen, AB6IX, Mamamoo, (G)I-dle, NCT Dream and Kai from Exo.

Ive sang three songs and Enhypen did an introductory performance and interacted with the audience before singing four tunes. Solar and Daewhi sang "Let It Go," (G)I-dle covered Justin Bieber's "Love Yourself" and performed four of the girl group's own songs, while Mamamoo, AB6IX, NCT Dream and Kai from Exo each did four numbers.

I communicated on May 16 with three people who attended the concert via social media and asked them for their impressions of the event. Three people who attended the concert agreed to an interview on their personal impressions of the event.

Elina Triantafyllidou from Greece traveled from her country to Germany to attend "KPOP.FLEX."

Elina Triantafyllidou traveled from Greece to attend the concert in Frankfurt. She said she loved all the artists who performed but went there specifically to achieve one of her life's goals: see Kai in person. She said being close to the stage to see things close was great and that Kai looked much better up close than in videos and photos. She said she was shaking when he came on stage and performed his songs with excellent choreography.

Another memorable moment for her was when NCT Dream and Enhypen appeared on stage and answered questions from the audience. Enhypen said this was the group's first time outside of Asia, and Triantafyllidou said the seven-member boy band was cute.

Masha Pylypenko, a war refugee from Ukraine, said the concert meant a lot to her given the situation in her homeland.

Masha Pylypenko is a war refugee from Ukraine. She lived in Kyiv but fled to Germany, where she now lives. So because of the dire situation in her homeland, she said she wanted to attend a K-pop concert for the first time in person, and her main reason for going was Enhypen.

She said she liked the atmosphere and how dynamic the artists were in their performances. One of her favorite moments was when the acts chatted with the audience, and Pylypenko said she was touched when a Ukrainian unexpectedly appeared on the giant screen singing in a shelter. She said she was also moved when Solar and Daehwi performed "Let It Go."

Elisabeth Mucaj drove four hours to the concert venue and she enjoyed the concert a lot.

Elisabeth Mucaj from Switzerland drove four hours to the concert venue mainly to see Monsta X, but was extremely disappointed when she learned that the group would not appear. Yet she said she still enjoyed seeing NCT Dream, Enhypen and Kai.

Her best moment at the event was meeting other Hallyu fans and seeing at least two of her favorite K-pop acts. While she liked Enhypen singing "Fever," she selected NCT Dream's performance her favorite given the group's overall presence.
