The outdoor event "Korean Vibes" was hosted on June 25 by Food Hood in Bucharest, Romania. The samulnori (traditional farmer's music) group Pureun Narae, fusion dance group Krown and K-Nomad joined forces to organize this celebration of Korea. K-Nomad, the first Korean food truck from Food Hood, and Food Hood organized this event to promote Korean culture and cuisine in Bucharest.
This event featured well-known Korean dishes with the elegant moves of buchaechum (traditional Korean fan dance) and strong beat of samulnori to wow the large crowds there.
The event "Korean Vibes" was held on June 25 in Bucharest, Romania.
First was a buchaechum performance accompanied by the provincial folk song "Saetaryeong"(Bird Song). Long and green Hanbok skirts created a beautiful contrast to bright magenta and white fans. The delicate moves of the fans and expressive voices of pansori (solo lyrical opera) singers symbolized the flight of singing birds in the spring sky.
The fusion dance performance saw K-pop combined with a traditional fan dance, featuring the old and modern under a new concept.

The traditional vibe was continued by Pureun Narae's performance of Utdari Samulnori, a farmer's percussion piece. The cheerful sound of traditional Korean instruments surprised the audience and filled the atmosphere with a wonderful energy.

After the performances, the food truck K-nomad provided delicious Korean food like bibimbap (rice mixed with meat, vegetables and spicy red pepper paste), bulgogi (marinated grilled beef) and dakgalbi (spicy stir-fried barbecue chicken) made with healthy and fresh Romanian ingredients. All of the attendees ate together, and the food contributed to the Korean energy created by this event.
