The Korean Culture and Information Service (KOCIS) under the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism last month released its official 2023 desk calendar with the theme "Let Korea's Charm Touch Your Soul." It features every month leading tourist attractions in Korea such as Gyeongbokgung Palace in Seoul, Bijindo Island off the southern coast and the purple bridge on the "purple island" of Banwoldo in Sinan-gun County, Jeollanam-do Province.

The official 2023 KOCIS desk calendar features every month a leading tourist attraction of Korea.

The calendar also displays photos of traditional and modern aspects of Korean culture like Hangeul, Hanbok, taekwondo and K-pop dance shown abroad, displaying the enthusiasm  of people around the world toward Korean culture.

In the past, I usually got the e-version of the calendar from Korea.net's Spanish- and English-language sections, but this year, I was lucky enough to get a hard copy as a gift from the Korean Embassy in Nepal.

KOCIS also offers its official calendar in online form on Korea.net.

KOCIS also offers a mobile calendar featuring its official mascot Kocnuni, with a range of digital wallpaper featuring images of the character created by Instagram users.
