Bangtan TV, the official YouTube channel of K-pop sensation BTS, on Dec. 26 shared a clip showing the production of the music video for "Dreamers," the official song of last year's FIFA World Cup in Qatar. The clip was filmed by BTS member Jungkook and Qatari pop singer Fahd Al Kubaisi and featured tourist attractions in the Arab country.
Ameera Al-Said, a 25-year-old Palestinian Jordanian who lives in Qatar, was involved in the making of the music video as a professional in Qatari media production. She said she is interested in creating content related to Korea and was chosen by the Korean Embassy in Doha as a supporter of Korean culture.
The following are excerpts from an interview conducted with her from Dec. 7 to Jan. 26 via social media on her opinions of Korean culture and her participation in the music video's production.

How did you get to work on the music video for "Dreamers?"
I worked on the music video as an artist chaperone. I joined two other members to help the artists in tasks like scheduling, food, transportation and accommodations.

You are a fan of BTS, so how did it feel to work with Jungkook?
Honestly, it was a dream. I couldn’t believe I was standing next to an artist I loved so much. Whenever we made eye contact, I'd give him the biggest smile and he'd smile back. Yet he was so professional and worked hard. He wanted to be perfect in his performance though the weather was extremely hot.
I saw him on the first day of shooting and led him and his security guards to his room on the set. I said the simple Korean greeting "Annyeonghasaeyo" and bowed. He was surprised and said, "Wow, you speak Korean so well." I was grateful to be on the set daily and did my best for the artists.
How did you develop an interest in Korean culture?
It started when I watched a K-drama in high school and fell in love. Afterwards, I started listening to K-pop and fell in love more with BTS and everything about Korea. I was happy to be chosen as a World Cup supporter by the Korean Embassy and create content related to Korea for the Qatari audience. I especially love the Korean language as Hangeul looks like a drawing to me.

What Korea-related activity did you enjoy most at last year's FIFA World Cup in Qatar?
Among the many Korea-related activities in last year's FIFA World Cup, I attended the Korean team's games, interacted with Korean fans and made a video clip for media release. The Korean pavilion at the (waterfront promenade) Doha Corniche was great with its skincare section, K-pop dance machine and Hanbok interactive booth. My favorite memory, however, was the awesome reactions of Koreans when I told them how much I love Korean culture. I made so many Korean friends during the World Cup, and this gave me a chance to get closer to them, show them around Qatar and answer all questions about my culture.
