I traveled from the U.S. city of Atlanta to Busan from July 5-8 to see the beauty and charm of Korea's largest port city. It was my first time visiting this metropolis with its gorgeous beaches, lush nature reserves and serene hot springs, and I firmly believe that this vibrant place is the ideal destination to host the 2030 World Expo.
The following is my use of each letter of the city's name to explain why I think Busan should host the event.
I agree with the city's 2030 World Expo slogan: Busan is ready.

S: sustainable legacy
Busan's dedication to sustainability makes it a frontrunner for hosting the World Expo. The city has made significant strides in renewable energy and eco-friendly infrastructure and initiatives. If it hosts the event, Busan will be an exemplar of environmental preservation and inspire other nations worldwide to do the same.

N: natural splendor
Nestled between majestic mountains and the blue sea, Busan has a natural beauty that captivates visitors from around the world. Its pristine beaches, verdant parks and picturesque landscapes create a breathtaking backdrop for the World Expo, displaying harmonious coexistence between humans and nature.
