I attended on Sept. 7 an event for supporters of Korean culture and tourism in Jakarta, Indonesia, featuring a meeting with Korean first lady Kim Keon Hee. This remarkable opportunity came from my involvement with the Korean Embassy in Jakarta and other communities related to Korean culture.

The hourlong event was filled with introductions, cultural exchange and even a Korean cooking demonstration. The first lady expressed her support for our efforts to promote Korean culture and our dreams related to Hallyu.

The event concluded with attendees receiving souvenirs as gifts from her supporting Busan's bid to host the 2030 World Expo. Meeting her was an unforgettable experience and I believe her presence at this event will further inspire supporters of Korean culture and tourism worldwide to pursue their dreams and contribute to the global spread of Hallyu.

Everyone at the meetup shared their excitement and gratitude in meeting the first lady and seemed moved by the experience, highlighting its significance for Korean culture enthusiasts.
