The heartwarming "Hello Autumn" message opens the Seoul Drone Show on Oct. 1.
I attended this year's Drone Light Show on Oct. 1 at Ttukseom Hangang River Park in Seoul's Gwangjin-gu District, seeing the captivating brilliance of 1,000 synchronized drones to welcome fall.
This show was part of a series held every Friday from Sept. 8 to Oct. 27, but a one-time shift to Sunday came due to the extended Chuseok (Korean Thanksgiving) holiday weekend. Despite this change in schedule, enthusiastic crowds gathered at the park eager to see the spectacular display.
The park, located next to a subway station with the same name, made it easily accessible to visitors. As people flocked to secure good spots to see the spectacle, this event attracted a diverse audience of families, couples, students and tourists for a delightful evening by the river.
The Drone Light Show is a fusion of creativity and technology
The show features images of walks and vibrant scenes from fall.
Organizing such a large-scale gathering, managing the crowds and ensuring safety required meticulous planning and execution. As a tourist, I was highly impressed with how the event was managed. When in Korea, spending time by the Hangang River is a must, and this show felt like the perfect icing on the cake to make my visit even more memorable.
The park also offers a plethora of activities and attractions for tourists. A month has passed since my incredible trip to Korea, and this drone show is one of my most memorable moments there.
