Commemorating the second anniversary of the opening of the former presidential compound of Cheong Wa Dae in Seoul, KBS on May 7 hosted a concert at the venue under the theme "K-culture with the World."

From 7-9 p.m., a long list of well-known artists went on stage to deliver outstanding performances. I was invited to attend by Korea.net as an Honorary Reporter.

Visitors were advised to use public transportation and arrive early there to collect their tickets. Due to a rain forecast, the original camping chairs were replaced with regular ones.

Under cloudy skies, the event began with light rain but the staff were well-prepared and provided raincoats for the audience to watch the show comfortably. Welcoming kits filled with snacks, water and small blankets to keep warm were also included.

The rain didn't seem to bother the audience and soon it stopped raining.

Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Yu In Chon also greeted the audience with a speech.

The performances were set against the backdrop of Cheong Wa Dae, offering magnificent views of the signature blue tiles of the main office building.
