The Nepal office of the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) from Sept. 11-12 hosted a photo exhibition and cultural event at the KOICA ICT Center of the Institute of Engineering's Pulchowk Campus in Patan. The event showcased KOICA's development and cooperation efforts in Nepal under the themes of prosperity, happiness and humanity.
This celebration marked the 50th anniversary of ties between Korea and Nepal, with programs highlighting strong bilateral relations and the desire for a more enduring partnership.
The exhibition featured Korean culture including food, traditional games, clothing and calligraphy, K-pop and a Korean culture booth. A Korean food zone and an eco-booth promoted eco-friendly sanitary pads and sustainable reproductive health, plus the announcement of the winners of the KOICA Photo Contest added to the excitement.
