The Korean Cultural Center (KCC) in Hanoi, Vietnam, on the evening of Dec. 25 hosted a Christmas gathering to celebrate the holiday season and reflect on the past year.

Attended by Korea.net Honorary Reporters, the event provided an opportunity to mark shared accomplishments, exchange memories and strengthen connections.

Each guest received a Christmas gift bag, and KCC Director Choi Seung-jin in a speech highlighted the importance of deepening bilateral ties.

The program featured performances of traditional Korean folk songs with instruments such as the gayageum (zither) and flute, starting with the tale "Heungbu and Nolbu" and followed by the folk song "Arirang." The performers also sang the Vietnamese song "Ly Cay Bong" with the flute, gayageum and piano.

Afterward came a buffet featuring Hansik (traditional cuisine) dishes like kimchi and bibimbap, or rice mixed with an assortment of meat, vegetables and spicy red pepper paste.


The event concluded with a lucky draw, and the announcement of the winners attracted laughter.
