Through Jan. 31, the 2024 Talk Talk Korea Winner's Exhibition in Indonesia is being held at the Main Atrium KOREA 360 of Lotte Shopping Avenue in Jakarta.

Talk Talk Korea is a global contest for creative content related to Korean culture held by the Korean Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism. Last year, the competition had five categories: promotional videos, arts and crafts, motion graphics, photobook, and memes and trends.

The contest had 80 winners, 11 of whom were Indonesian: two in promotional videos and and three each in photobook, motion graphics, and memes and trends.

El Mosley's work ( center ) is one of the work that made me impressed, because it was perfectly shown me the beauty of Gyeongju City, Korea, even through photos.

El Mosley's work (center) features the city of Gyeongju, Gyeongsangbuk-do Province.

At the center of the venue is an area showcasing the winning works of the photobook category. Those by El Mosley from Egypt and Luu Thi Thu Loan from Vietnam made me recall the beauty of Gyeongju, Gyeongsangbuk-do Province, during my visit in fall 2023.

Around the photobook section, I heard a little boy laughing while watching the big screen on the KOREA 360 stage, which broadcast a video by an Indonesian winner of the memes and trends category. In addition, visitors can also see other winning works in two little rooms with screens and boxes to sit down.

Mounted television screen is also located next to the special little room and showcase all winning works of Meme & Trend and Arts & Craft categories.

Looking around the exhibition, I was especially impressed by the photobook section, which made me feel like I was in Korea.
