By Honorary Reporter Ghada Mohamed Ali from Egypt and Aya Elhadidy from Egypt
I'm Aya Fahmy Elhadidy. Since becoming an honorary reporter in 2020, this journey has been a source of pride and happiness for me. During these years, my most proud accomplishment was being selected in 2023 as one of the five distinguished reporters for the Arabic section. Working with the Korea.net team has been an enriching experience that filled me with inspiration and passion.

At the end of the program in Oct. 2024, I received a pleasant surprise from the Korea.net team. I was informed that my article had been selected to be included in the 2024 K-Voyage Korea.net Honorary Reporters Archive book. This archive includes articles representing the ten languages available on the Korea.net platform.
My article chosen for publication was titled: "From Ocean to Mediterranean: The Experience of Raw Korean Seafood." I wrote it last August 2024, and it was an exceptional experience because it combined the boldness of taste with the power of memories.
I am extremely grateful to the Korea.net team for giving me this opportunity to share my passion for Korean culture with others. Having my article selected for publication in the K-Voyage book made me feel proud, and I look forward to presenting new and distinctive experiences during my ongoing journey with Korean culture.

I'm Ghada Mohamed Ali, and my journey as an honorary reporter for Korea.net began in 2019. It was a journey filled with rich and exciting experiences related to Korean culture. Through this experience, I was able to discover and share the beauty of this unique culture that has many similarities with our Egyptian culture.
I never expected my work to be so appreciated. When I was chosen as the best honorary reporter in 2022 and 2024, won second place in the Arabic language in 2022, and won third place among all ten languages in 2024, I felt pride and gratitude to everyone who supported me. This motivated me to continue to work on higher-quality content. Most importantly, the happiness that comes from readers’ compliments made me recognize my contribution to the spreading of Korean culture.
At the end of 2024, Korea.net created a book that compiles articles from reporters in all ten languages it offers. Words cannot express my happiness when my article, “Unveiling the Soul of Korean Traditional Music, Sogeum's Melodies and Arirang's Resonance at the King Sejong Institute in Egypt,” was selected to be included in the book. This book is a piece of art that tells the story of our shared passion for Korean culture. I never imagined I would see my words printed in the pages of a book and be part of such a wonderful project.
Our journey into the world of Korean culture has been a rich cultural exchange. We have learned a lot about Korea, and at the same time, have provided a glimpse of our Egyptian culture. This experience has proven that different cultures can meet and cooperate, and that cultural exchange is the key to building a more understanding world. We will continue writing and participating in cultural activities, and hope to inspire more people to explore this rich and diverse world.
