K-dramas in the thriller genre have captivated global audiences with gripping suspense, unexpected twists, stunning cinematography and standout acting. The following are four in this genre that I feel don't disappoint.

1. "Mouse" (2021)

This series explores the minds of serial killers and the ethical dilemmas surrounding human nature. A rookie police officer uncovers dark secrets linked to a mysterious psychopath. With suspenseful twists, "Mouse" poses the chilling question "What if we could identify psychopaths in advance?"

The unpredictable plot twists keep the identity of the true villain secret until the end. Blending a thriller with elements of science fiction, "Mouse" delivers a deeply unsettling yet satisfying conclusion.

2. "Signal" (2016)

This work blends time travel with crime solving using stories from real-life cases in Korea. A cold case detective finds a mysterious walkie-talkie that connects him to a detective from the past to solve unsolved crimes.

This is my all-time favorite K-drama, and I can't for its second season next year. It gripped me from start to finish with its intelligent storytelling and high-stakes suspense. Even after multiple viewings, "Signal" continues to intrigue me.

3. "Beyond Evil" (2021)

Two detectives team up to uncover murders occurring in their town. Its unpredictable plot and story twists leave viewers with a sense of unease and fascination. The drama's greatest strength is the exceptional cast and their remarkable performances. I was thinking about this drama long after finishing it.

4. "Flower of Evil" (2020)

A seemingly perfect husband hides a dark past as a suspected serial killer. When his detective wife starts to question his identity, their relationship unravels into a psychological battle.

I found this drama masterfully blending emotional depth with gripping suspense. After watching, I couldn't help but wonder what I would do if in the wife's position.
