Korea's largest theme park Everland through Dec. 31 runs a "KPop Demon Hunters" zone and stamp event. I took part in the latter event on Nov. 3. The theme zone was created through the collaboration between Everland and Netflix, based on the popularity of the global hit 'K-Pop Demon Hunters,' to provide domestic and international fans with an immersive space to experience the work's universe firsthand, and furthermore, to play a role in promoting Korean culture.

Visitors should plan a trip in advance including transportation, tickets and attractions. A round-trip bus from Seoul is recommended, as travel can take over an hour depending on traffic. Everland requires prior research to navigate efficiently as the zone is within the Everland Festival Content Zone next to the Space Tour attraction.

The zone is especially popular with families and children. At the artist tour bus near the starting point, visitors including children can get makeovers to become Saja Boys or HUNTRIX aspirants while in line. Staff provide an invitation card for the stamp tour event featuring a printed cover of the film.

Completing activities across the three main zones of Saja Boys, HUNTRIX and Derpy is the goal. The Saja Boys area features a song-rhythm game using their hit single "Soda Pop," where participants match lyrics to the music. The zone also includes a rolling game and photo area to capture moments with the group performing "Your Idol." Don't forget to stamp the booklet before moving on to the next zone.

The HUNTRIX zone is a crowd favorite, recreating scenes from the film. Join Rumi, Mira and Zoey on their private plane, enjoy snacks like those shown in the movie and reenact the girls' "mukbang" (meokbang) scene, or an online audiovisual broadcast showing a host eating.

Next is the shooting game Plane in Crisis, where players aim at the screen to defeat as many evil spirits as possible. Another challenge has people strike red lights with a hammer to complete the mission. The zone ends at a "Golden" performance photo area to snap pictures and stamp booklets before proceeding to the final zone.

Visitors can re-create the scene in the film with a familiar set-up inside the private plane of HUNTR/X.

At the final Derpy zone, visitors must hold upright a flowerpot with one hand while wearing a glove as thick as Derpy's claw. It seems simple but the glove makes the task surprisingly difficult, and participants have limited time to complete it.

After collecting all the stamps, a stunning image of an irworobongdo, a folding screen with a stylized landscape painting of the sun, moon and five peaks, appears. Participants can exchange their completed stamp booklet for a holographic HUNTRIX card at the rewards zone.

Another prize, an NFC keychain containing the film's original music and video, is obtainable by participating in a photo event within the zone.
