Medical Asia seeks to promote the globalization of Korean medicine and medical tourism. This year's event was co-hosted by Korean media outlets Money Today and the Korea Daily of New York and Phoenix New Media Jilin of China with support from Korea's Ministry of Health and Welfare, Ministry of Food and Drug Safety, and the Korea Tourism Organization.

The organizing committee conducted extensive research on health care trends and international patient needs using 15 years of proprietary data, expert assessments and surveys to select 51 honorees. The program included morning award presentations and an afternoon session of presentations by leading institutions in ophthalmology, dermatology and orthopedics.

The event also showcased Korea's advances in precision medicine, diagnostics driven by artificial intelligence, robotic surgery and telemedicine. The K-Doctors Alliance Project was also introduced as a long-term initiative to build a global network of leading physicians and strengthen academic and technological cooperation.

Another highlight was the participation of 20 influencers from 15 countries who provided real-time global coverage and behind-the-scenes content to showcase Korea's medical achievements to the world.

The international influencers underscored the critical role of digital media in medical tourism and patient outreach. Attendees praised the initiative for leveraging social media to bridge the gap between Korean clinical know-how and a global network of prospective patients abroad.

During the afternoon conference, influencers had the opportunity to engage directly with Korean medical professionals and took a group photo following their presentations.
