The King Sejong Institute branch in Istanbul, Turkiye (Turkey), from June 22-23 held a Korean beauty seminar at Istanbul University.
The Sejong Culture Academy introduced beauty trends such as personal color analysis to the 30-40 people who attended each day.
Makeup artist and beauty expert Kim Suyoung, who was invited from Korea for the event, led both theoretical and interactive sessions focused on finding the right color tones for a person's complexion, image and eyebrow design to help define a face's golden ratio.

He began the session with the fundamentals of personal color theory, explaining how color tones can affect a person's impression, complexion and overall image. A live demonstration followed with a volunteer model from the audience.
Based on her preference for a "cute" makeup style, Kim identified the ideal color palette to enhance her natural features and showed the practical steps of shaping straight and symmetrical eyebrows.

The best part of the seminar was the interactive workshop. After a brief visual demonstration, participants got to practice the techniques on themselves using the cosmetics prepared for the workshop.
Kim offered individual guidance on finding one's personal color tones and recommended eyebrow shapes suited to each participant's unique facial structures. Everyone received direct feedback from a professional and found the palettes that complemented them best.
