Exactly 100 days before the start of the 2020 Tokyo Summer Olympics, the national Olympic team on April 14 display for the first time their official uniforms and suits for the competition at a media event hosted by the National Training Center in Jincheon, Chungcheongnam-do Province.
Sportswear maker Youngone Outdoor designed the uniforms and Kolon Industries FnC the suits. The uniforms' motif comprises the red and blue Taegeuk symbol and four sets of corner bars on the Taegeukgi, the Korean national flag. To be worn at the opening and closing ceremonies by the athletes, the suit consists of a jacket sporting traditional Korean colors that apply the celadon green of Goryeo Dynasty celadon and pure white pants that symbolize white porcelain from the Joseon Dynasty.
