The day before Gogu, one of the 24 solar terms of the traditional lunar calendar representing a time of spring rain and bountiful grain, people on April 19 harvest tea leaves at a tea field in Hoecheon-myeon Township of Boseong-gun County, Jeollanam-do Province. Called ujeoncha (pre-rain tea) in reference to Gogu, the collected leaves are in high demand for their excellent fragrance and taste.
