Pharmacies nationwide from April 29 began sales of a self-test kit for COVID-19 after it received emergency approval from the World Health Organization. A user collects a sample from his or her nose, drops the sample on the testing device and receives the result within 15 minutes. The photo shows staff at the factory of SD Biosensor, one of two domestic companies whose kits have been approved for use in Korea, in Heungdeok-gu District of Cheongju, Chungcheongbuk-do Province, inspecting the kits before their release.
