Buddhist monks on May 11 dust off Buddha statues within the main hall of Jogyesa Temple in Seoul.
The annual Lotus Lantern Festival, which was canceled last year due to COVID-19, will start at 6 p.m. on May 18 to mark Buddha's Birthday, a national holiday that falls on May 19.
